Save Our Students is dedicated to bringing education into the 21st century. The standardized education model is outdated and ineffective. The one-size-fits-all instruction has our students failing to meet the state standards.

Replace Standardized with Individualized
It’s time to replace standardized education with individualized learning. The current model sorts children by age, places them in classrooms at random, then they all learn the SAME material, at the SAME time, at the SAME pace, and in the SAME way.
With individualized education, the curriculum is personalized. Children think critically to solve real-world problems, make good decisions, and demonstrate strong character in a learner-centered environment.
Materials For Learning
The cost of public education in Washington State is over $18,500 per student. By redirecting these funds, we have the resources to individualize learning for each student. This small change can greatly impact every child’s educational experience.
The Center for Inspired Learning developed an individualized education model that can be implemented in any public elementary school using the existing budgets, staffing, and infrastructure.

A recent 10th-grade student survey showed:
